Greetings friends, things went wonderfully at Pennsic XXXVI. The East Kingdom Lost the war points battles because they were out numbered 3:1 but The Tuchux went above and beyond any and all expectations that would have been placed upon them. Their numbers have grown as well, I have been white scarred along with Dove and Timore, I am running with the Hillcat tribe under Kodiak and my new name is Mongrel. I worked my ass off to become a Tuchuck, I fought all of their warriors in a bear pit and came back two days later to do it again. I ran with them in the battles, Killed the King of the Midrealm, helped them take the only banner in the woods battle and held the last bridge in the river battle. These accomplishments are great and many coming from a once lowly SCA-dog . . .I came I showed my skill and courage, proved to them I have what it takes to fight like them and dove head first into the deep end. . .as my friend Freeman the Minstrel told me "This is the deep end, there are sharks here" I'm one of those sharks now. . .granted I am no Great White, but I shall be in time, with training, experience and more fighting in my life, I shall exceed any and all limitations placed upon me!

HOORAH!

Alright then lads and lasses here be the time to test me mettle with the big boys. In under 12 hours I shall be well on me way to the largest SCAdian event in the united states and the second largest reenactment event in the world! I will be at Pennsic XXXVI (36) Starting tomorrow and returning on the 13th of august. The first week shall be peace, classes and party while the second shall be fighting pirates, parties, and more parties! YARR!! Captain Malcolm Korbinian of The Raven's Flight (that's me and my ship) Shall set sail for Port Pennsic under the Fleet of Lord Commodore Aleister H. Corum with his flagship the Bella Mortè. Wish me luck me hearties as the seas are rough, the kur-dogs and corsairs are tougher, and the rum is in short supply! (at least it is when i'm around!) I break dock at sunrise and sail west until Port Pennsic is in sight! So shall this be my fate, the chance of a lifetime! 15,000 pirates, bards, barbarians, nobles, kings, queens, fighters, knights, masters at arms, gypsies, and a whole slew of others shall be minf for the taking and so shall my spoils be mountainous! Greetings and merry meet my friends and comrades!. . . many things have been happening. . .My job at Tandy is coming along swimmingly. . I'm closer to getting my car, school is almost over (w00t!!!!1!!!) Pennsic is on the horizon (double w00t!!!1!!) and I've started my own business creating custom leather armor and chainmaille jewelry. . So far I have one client who has submitted his contract and down payment on a $1,000 suit of leather armor (12th century French crusader with his coat of arms on the back and a fleur de lis on the front over the heart) so this is a wonderful start to what looks like a great oppertunity to help my fellow Scadians, make some nice money, and have fune doing what I seem to do best.. make medieval armor. . .if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me via email at winter.nighthawk@gmail.com
